Maharaja movie review :
Maharaja film Which is the most disturbing film of India that you have seen till date? Prepare to forget every name that has come to your mind because today I am going to tell you about the most underrated film of 20224, after which tomorrow’s Pushpa KGF will make everything smaller. You will feel like a child, a cinema which starts in your mind after the end on the screen and does not leave you for at least a week. Many people may have already heard the name of the film Maharaja, while some may be hearing it for the first time. But I promise you that after this you will never be able to forget it in life.
Well, the best news for cinema lovers is that the film has been released on direct OTT instead of theatre, and the bonus is that you can enjoy the film in Hindi dubbing. You can just watch it for a short while. I would definitely like to give a warning that the subject of the film looks like a drama from outside but there is something hidden inside which can disturb you mentally. Like any normal complaint, one day a man comes to the police station with a big complaint about theft. I have to report the one who changed his life. Do you know the amazing thing? This guy is ready to put up to Rs 5 lakh extra in the police officer’s pocket to find out the stolen thing. What is good, let me explain it in short, Maharaja.
He runs a normal hair salon and like every evening, after closing the shop, when he goes home, someone attacks him on the head from behind. He remembers a total of three people, whose face he cannot recognize because he had become unconscious due to the injury. But I remember one thing very well which will help a lot in catching the thief. Out of the three, the main thief has an ear on his back. See for yourself how it is. Are you shocked to hear just this thing? Hey, this is what you do not know right now. What has been stolen from this guy’s house, the report of which he has brought to the police, a dustbin whose name is Lakshmi, to find her, this guy is ready to give a bribe of Rs 5 lakh to the police officer, there is some gold, silver, drugs or something in the dustbin.
What is not hidden is the normal steel dustbin which once upon a time saved the life of the Maharaja’s daughter. Now how a dustbin can save a person from death, you will have to find out for yourself in the film, but I will tell you one thing in the film. Not just the Maharaja, there is also the story of a thief who, while robbing the house, sneaks into the kitchen in front of the family members and cooks his favourite food comfortably for two-three hours and sits and eats it in front of the family members. After this he shoots them and runs away. If you are preparing yourself for a dangerous film after hearing just this, then don’t even ask about the boss climax.
You will literally get goosebumps. You have rarely seen such a shocking climax. In the last 5-10 years, you must have seen such a scene in another film which takes the entire Indian cinema to a new level. Maharaja is a totally unpredictable film; you have never seen anything like it before and perhaps you will never be able to see it again. One Single Original Piece, One Thing. One has to engage the brain and second is to confuse everyone with the open ending, but the climax of Maharaja seems to have entered inside the body through the eyes. You will feel so much fear after watching this film because the way of telling the story is very normal but what happens inside is It is terrible, it is scary, it is such a cinema that you cannot watch it just like a cinema because the film changes everything with just one scene and starts making the story feel personal.
You have rarely experienced so many emotions while watching a film. After the end of Maharaja, you will feel such a dangerous transformation in just a few seconds that I have never seen before in any film. Even a stone will start crying. Such a twist will be introduced that it will keep you in suspense till the very last scene. Even on 1st episode, we won’t get a hint as to what the film is about. Everything is kept hidden and when the truth comes out in the end, it literally changes the perspective of watching the entire film. The most powerful message of Indian cinema is that Maharaja is good. There is also violence and action in the film, which will suddenly hit you without any entry.
It is difficult to imagine all this with a human body. Vijay Sethupathi vs Anurag Kashyap, no one would have imagined this face-off even in their dreams and when it actually happened. Anurag Kashyap can make an actor a psycho villain but giving him his own face is totally out of syllabus in the film. The way his story is linked to the Maharaja is the level of the film.
That’s where it changes completely. Disturbing might be too small a word for that. If any actor in Hollywood had done even 10th of what Vijay Sethupathi has done in Raja, he would have taken About – Bharatiya TImes24 home the Oscar trophy for an easy normal cinema in India. The credit for turning it into the most shocking film will go only to this face.
The award for the most deceitful actor will be written in his name. In the first scene, he is Lakshmi’s complaint in the police station. The presentation of the climax is straight from the film. You can see Vijay Sethupathi acting class in the film in which The career of 1002 actors will end, after this you will not be able to compare any other actor with them you Boss Maharaja will get full four and a half stars out of five from me. The use of acting, story, emotions, climax and Lakshmi is not the jackpot of the film, it is just small in the negative. My only complaint is that in the effort to make the film special, the story starts looking a bit unconvincing at some places.
Maharaja Synopsis : Vijay Sethupathi is wonderful in his 50th film, and he has a well-written role at his disposal.
